Scalebound slips into 2799
Platinum's game should make it out before the next millennium, though.

If you've got one eye on Platinum Games' upcoming Xbox One-exclusive, Scalebound, then perhaps your heart skipped a beat when you saw the above headline. Of course, the dragon-tastic action game is due to come out next year on Microsoft's console, but according to the Xbox Store, the title has been pushed back to 2799 (we'll have probably played The Last Guardian by then, so that's something). The gaff surfaced on Twitter before being verified by Twinfinite, although the date has since been amended on Microsoft's store front and it looks like, fingers crossed, we're back on for a release sometime next year.
